Kurt Angle Names The Most-Underrated Wrestler He Ever Faced

Kurt Angle

Kurt Angle has named the most under-rated wrestler he has ever faced in the ring – a fellow competitor with whom Angle has a lot in common.

Speaking on a special Q and A version of The Kurt Angle Show, the WWE Hall Of Famer was taking questions from his fans.

Co-host Conrad Thompson relayed the question to Angle of who he thought the most under-rated wrestler he had ever worked with was. Angle was quick to name someone he wrestled towards the very end of his WWE career.

Angle responded:

“I would say and I wrestled him late in my career, but I would say, Chad Gable. I think that kid has so much potential. And I know the company started pushing them and they laid off. I don’t know if it has to do with his size, but the guy is amazing and in real life, he could whoop any of those wrestlers’ asses. He’s a real-life badass and to not have him go to the main event level where he deserves to be, just blows my mind because he is very talented. A great technical wrestler, former Olympian, you can’t ask for anything more than that.”

Kurt Angle faced Chad Gable on the 18th of March 2019 edition of Raw. Less than three weeks later the Olympic gold medallist competed in his last WWE match, losing to Baron Corbin at WrestleMania 35.

Chad Gable has been on a winning run in recent weeks in WWE. He has partnered with Otis as The Alpha Academy.

Kurt Angle also discussed his five dream WrestleMania opponents. A list that included some excellent amateur wrestlers as well.
