Roman Reigns is arguably the biggest star in WWE today, but for how much longer?
WWE stars have been branching out into Hollywood with increasing regularity in recent years with the likes of Dave Bautista and John Cena following in the massive footsteps of The Rock.
Meanwhile, Cody Rhodes is exploring launching an acting career, Seth Rollins is set to appear in the upcoming Captain America movie and Charlotte Flair and Liv Morgan will be working on their own film project this summer.
It’s expected that those four stars will also continue to wrestle for some time to come, but Kurt Angle doesn’t believe the same can be said of Roman Reigns. Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, the Hall of Famer said that Reigns will be gone from WWE in five years because he’s destined to be a movie star.
“Roman Reigns is not going to be in the company in the next five years. That kid is going to be a huge movie star,” Angle said. “It’s going to happen. It is. There’s no doubt. He’s got an incredible look, he’s talented, he’s smart. The kid’s going to be a movie star.”
Roman Reigns Set For World Championship Celebration Against Backdrop Of Betrayal
Roman Reigns is set to celebrate passing 1000 days as World Champion on the June 2nd episode of SmackDown, but two family members probably won’t be invited. At Night of Champions, Reigns attempted to win the Undisputed Tag Team Titles against Kevin Owens & Sami Zayn, and all seemed to be going to plan. That was until Jimmy Uso went rogue and Superkicked him in the head. Twice.
The subsequent chaos enabled Zayn and Owens to pick up the win.
