You’d think winning one of several titles in WWE would have been Kurt Angle’s crowning achievement, but that’s just not true.
Your Olympic Hero did a special “Ask Kurt Anything” on the latest episode of “The Kurt Angle Show” and co-host Paul Bromwell inquired to Angle what his favorite moment was in WWE. Angle certainly has a wide selection to choose from when it comes to major moments, but one stood out above all others: The Milk Truck.
“Dousing down ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin and Stephanie McMahon with milk, and The Alliance, it was the best feeling in the world. I was on cloud nine that night.”
Why The Milk Truck Moment Held Great Significance To Kurt Angle
The classic “hose down” occured on the August 20, 2001 episode of “WWE Raw” as a babyface Angle battled the alliance with a great deal of dairy. Angle said that holds a special place in his heart because it was with one of his favorite opponents.
“It was one of those things – you remember when Austin did the beer truck? It was the same thing,” Angle continued. “It was an incredible moment, and the great thing was it was tied to ‘Stone Cold.'”
For his birthday celebration on WWE SmackDown last year, Angle recreated that moment with fellow Olympic Gold Medalist Gable Steveson as the two sprayed down Chad Gable and Otis. 2022 was filled with milk for Angle as earlier that year, he also joined The Street Profits for a tall glass of skim on 30th Anniversary of WWE Raw too.
