Kurt Angle “Expecting” Major Title Change At WrestleMania 39

Kurt Angle

New champions will be crowned at WrestleMania 39 according to Kurt Angle. It’s true, it’s damn true!

The Olympic gold medalist believes that both winners of the 2023 Royal Rumble matches will become champions at WWE’s biggest show of the year.

Kurt Angle Believes That Roman Reigns’ Title Reign Is In Danger

The 2023 Men’s Royal Rumble saw Cody Rhodes make his return from injury, entering the match at the number 30 spot. Rhodes would last eliminate Gunther, who entered at number 1, to win the match and earn the right to challenge Roman Reigns at Wrestlemania with the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship at stake.

Speaking on The Kurt Angle Show, Angle believes that both matches will be high quality, whilst also predicting who will win each of the respective title matches:

“Without a doubt, I think those matches are going to be really, really good. You know, Cody Rhodes. I’m expecting him to win this thing. I think it’s his time and Rhea Ripley, I wouldn’t doubt if she won it, too. She’s been up and coming. She’s been pretty strong lately. So, you never know.”

The American Nightmare is set to challenge The Head of the Table, providing that Reigns is still champion in April. Before WrestleMania, the Tribal Chief will be putting the title on the line against Sami Zayn at Elimination Chamber. Zayn will have the crowd on his side more than ever for this match, as the event is taking place in Zayn’s hometown of Montreal.

Rhea Ripley was the winner of the Women’s Royal Rumble match, entering the match from the first position and being the first woman in history to win the match from the number one spot. On the following episode of Raw, Ripley made her choice of who to face at WrestleMania.
