Kurt Angle would love to see a WWE Hall of Famer receive their second induction, this time as an individual.
Set to take place on April 18th, the 2025 Hall of Fame ceremony will once again recognise the contributions of legends from the industry. While many of the all-time greats have received their inductions, including Angle, others have been given the honour more than once for their work in a group as well as their solo careers, such as Booker T and Bret Hart.
In 2019, the WWE faction D-Generation X received the honour, which included the posthumous induction of Chyna, who passed away in 2016. With The Ninth Wonder of the World being an influence to many stars of today, being the first woman to enter a Royal Rumble match and to win the Intercontinental Championship, many believe that Chyna is worthy of her own individual induction.
Speaking with Bill Apter of Sportskeeda, Angle stated that Chyna should receive the accolade a second time:
“I’m not sure. I heard that Chyna was inducted but it was for DX? Yeah she should be inducted. That girl did so much for the business. She frontiered Women’s wrestling and not just women but wrestling men too. She had such a huge impact on the business. She was part of the reason that the business skyrocketed. She was in the middle of the Attitude Era, and she was one of the key players. I do believe that Chyna should be in the Hall of Fame.”
D-Generation X member Triple H will become the latest 2-time Hall of Famer as he is set to headline the 2025 class.
Kurt Angle Backs WWE Star As Next Breakout Performer
Shortly after his debut in 1999, many tipped Angle to be a star of the future due to his in-ring skill and character work. In a previous interview, Kurt Angle gave his pick for which WWE star he believed would be next to be a permanent main eventer.
