WWE Hall of Famer, Kurt Angle is set to guest on Stone Cold Steve Austin’s latest instalment of the Broken Skull Sessions exclusively on the WWE Network, as reported by the WWE Network Twitter page.
This will be the second Broken Skull Sessions episode to air in September following Austin’s collaboration with Jerry ‘The King’ Lawler, earlier in the month.
The episode will air immediately following Sunday’s Clash of Champions pay-per-view event.
Angle himself has hyped his appearance on his official Twitter page:
Kurt Angle won an Olympic gold medal in Men’s Freestyle Wrestling at the 1996 Olympic Games in Atlanta, Georgia. and two years later began training for a pro-wrestling career.
He made his WWE debut at the 1999 Survivor Series event and just 11 months later won the WWE Championship from The Rock at No Mercy on October 22, 2000. This followed European, Intercontinental and King of the Ring title success earlier in the year.
Angle’s rise was meteoric and his most memorable moments in WWE came the following year during his alliance and subsequent rivalry with Broken Skull Sessions host, Steve Austin.
As Angle’s tweet confirms, the pair will relive these moments and many more during the show.
Make sure you check out the episode following Clash of Champions this Sunday.
