Kofi Kingston Is Unsure Of Randy Orton’s Status
Appearing on the Ten Count with NBC Sports Boston Kingston broke down his dream Survivor Series team to do battle in WarGames. Kingston said that he would like to call on the services of Randy Orton but he’s unsure whether he’s coming back to WWE. While this comment could be taken to mean Orton might not be back before Survivor Series, it’s also possible that the New Day star meant he might not be back at all.
“I don’t know if [Randy] Orton is coming back, but I’d put Randy on my team,” Kingston said. “You know, The Viper and the experience factor.”
During the conversation, Kofi Kingston also discussed his famous defeat to Brock Lesnar back in 2019. Kingston’s reign as WWE Champion came to an end in just seven seconds as he was demolished by The Beast. However, the tag team star explained that he doesn’t like to dwell on the match or the reasons behind it.
