The semi-finals of WWE’s King of the Ring and Queen’s Crown tournaments have been set after another round of qualifying matches on Monday Night Raw.
On the October 11th episode of Raw Xavier Woods, Jinder Mahal, Shayna Baszler and Doudrop were all victorious in their respective matches.
Woods, who has made no secret of his desire to win the King of the Ring tournament, overcame Ricochet in a hard-hitting, high-flying battle. The New Day star eventually picked up the win with an elbow drop from the top rope. Later on in the show Kofi Kingston attempted to join his partner in the next round but was thwarted by Jinder Mahal via a distraction.
Meanwhile, in the Queen’s Crown tournament, Shayna Baszler made short work of a spirited Dana Brooke before Doudrop saw off the challenge of Natalya.
The winners from Raw will now join Finn Balor, Sami Zayn, Carmella and Zelina Vega from SmackDown in the semi-finals.
Over the upcoming episodes of SmackDown and Raw the following matches will take place to determine the finalists in both tournaments. The finals are set to be held at WWE Crown Jewel on October 21st.
- Finn Balor vs. Sami Zayn
- Carmella vs. Zelina Vega
- Xavier Woods vs Jinder Mahal
- Shayna Baszler vs. Doudrop
