Killian Dain has taken to social media to comment on his release from the WWE.
The NXT star, who enjoyed a fleeting main roster run as part of the ill-fated Sanity stable, issued a professional and measured response to the news, thanking many of his now-former colleagues from his time in NXT.
Dain, who has since updated his Twitter handle to @DamoMackle, picked out Robbie Brookside, William Regal, Fit Finlay, Johnny Moss, Shawn Michaels and Triple H for particular praise.
Perhaps most touching was Dain’s message of thanks to The Game, whom he said had “given me the opportunity to live out my dreams and trusted me and let me shine in some crazy scenarios!”.
Chip is back on my shoulder.

After extending his gratitude towards his fellow workers and the Performance Centre staff, the Belfast man reserved special praise for his wife, Nikki Cross, whom he thanked for her support across the past thirteen years.
Dain ended his message by getting back on the front foot, noting that he now had a chip back on his shoulder and that he could not wait to show the world what they had missed.
Cross responded with a heartfelt message of support and was full of encouragement for her husband’s next steps.
