Killer Kross fka Karrion Kross and Roman Reigns

Killer Kross says he “needs” to wrestle current WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns before he hangs up his boots.

Speaking with Inside The Ropes’ Lead Writer Gary Cassidy for Issue 18 of Inside The Ropes Magazine, Killer Kross answered our 20 Questions and revealed who the one name is in wrestling that he’d love to face – WWE’s Tribal Chief Roman Reigns!

The former Karrion Kross is full of ambition following his WWE departure and says there are many names on his list, but says the dream name right now is sat right at the Head of the Table.

“I’ve answered this question before in the past, and the answer has been different every time, but in 2022, I think the person that I need to wrestle before my career is done is definitely Roman Reigns.”

During the 20 Questions segment of the interview, Killer Kross opened up about the biggest locker room pranksters in WWE, his most bizarre fan interactions, and the surprising career path he almost took!

However, the former NXT Champion answered a few more questions for ITRWrestling.com and added that he has zero regrets about his WWE departure, and that he doesn’t actually think anything he could have done would have changed the long-term outcome.

“I have zero regrets about any decisions that I committed to, and this is just the feeling that I’m telling you and this is something I’ve had since I was a kid, I think everybody has it.

“Sometimes we lose the ability to interpret what that feeling is really telling us versus maybe being afraid of what it’s telling us or what we want it to tell us.

“But I am positive – in such a way where I am not sure how to explain it that no matter what course I chose, it was going to lead to me no longer being with the company. It’s just a feeling that I have.”

Kross added that it is “unfortunate” but said he thinks it’s actually a blessing in disguise as he plans on “running as far as he can” now that he holds the cards.

“It’s unfortunate, but I also think respectfully, this was a blessing in disguise. And I, although the last little bit was super unusual, I thoroughly enjoyed my time with the company and I’m glad people got to see me and I’m going to take the ball now and I’m going to run as far as I can with it.”
