In a video posted to social media former NXT UK Star Killer Kelly has opened up about her struggles with her mental health.
In a series of videos posted to her Twitter account, Kelly revealed that she has been diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, severe depression and anxiety, and compulsive eating. Kelly added that she was speaking up about her experience “because it can help someone to know that there’s always help and they’re not alone.”
Explaining her recent diagnosis Kelly gave details on her treatment and said that she was happy after finally seeking help.
“I got diagnosed with borderline personality disorder, with severe depression and anxiety, and compulsive eating. So that’s what I have; I finally have an answer for all those years that I’ve been feeling helpless, self-sabotaging and feeling sad. I finally have an answer and now I feel like I’m back on track and I’m focussed. I started medication today, two sorts of medication, just to balance all these chemicals and this cocktail that I have in my brain. Everything gets put together, everything gets on the right track. I’m very happy that I finally did this, I’m very happy that I made the grown-up decision to seek for help. If you’re on the same boat as me, and you feel helpless and hopeless just seek for help. There’s a lot of ways nowadays, you can even do it by phone, by internet, you don’t even need to meet someone in person. You can do it. I feel free now, I feel super happy that I finally have something to take care of. I’ve always tried to take care of my little problems step-by-step, but I knew deep inside that it was something else; there was something deeper that I really had to take care of. I did it, and I’m happy and if you feel the same way – you’re not alone. Everything can get better. I’m here for you and thank you for listening to me.”
You never know what’s going on w/ people in their life’s.
In my case, I never let anyone see more than a big smile on my face.
I made this because it can help someone to know that there’s always help and that they’re not alone.
Looking forward to getting better 🖤
