Kevin Von Erich was full of praise for AEW and Tony Khan following his family’s appearances in All Elite Wrestling.
Ahead of The Iron Claw’s premiere in December, Kevin, Ross, and Marshall Von Erich made a special appearance on the Winter is Coming episode of AEW Dynamite. The appearance set up a tag team match on the following Rampage, where Marshall and Ross teamed with Orange Cassidy to defeat Angelo Parker, Jake Hager, and Matt Menard.
Ross and Marshall competed on a number of Ring of Honor episodes following their Rampage match, and they returned to Rampage on the February 16th episode. Kevin was backstage and even appeared at ringside for some of his sons’ matches, giving him firsthand experience with the inner workings of both All Elite Wrestling and Ring of Honor.
In recent news, Tony Khan reacted to Darby Allin’s “crazy” bump at AEW Revolution.
“I Have A Lot Of Admiration For Him” – Kevin Von Erich On Tony Khan
Speaking in a new interview with A2theK, Kevin Von Erich opened up about the experience, heaping praise on both the company and its president.
“I love those people. It’s a great company. I know this isn’t anything, but the catering was great! What good food. The people are really nice. Tony Khan is something else. Every company needs a guy like that. Somebody that loves the business. That can look at the business like it was his first day every morning. That’s that guy. I have a lot of admiration for him. The wrestlers, all great, old friends.”
After the film’s premiere, Kevin Von Erich gave his true thoughts on The Iron Claw as well as Zac Efron’s portrayal of him.
