Kevin Owens Will Do Everything To Jump Off Pirate Ship At Mania 37

Kevin Owens

Kevin Owens has revealed that he will try as much as possible to get to jump off the pirate ship at Raymond James Stadium, Tampa, home of WrestleMania 37.

Speaking with Ryan Satin, Owens revealed that plans were in place last year to jump from the ship before the global pandemic altered WWE’s plans quite dramatically, WrestleMania 36 relocating to the WWE Performance Centre.

KO still got his WrestleMania moment when he jumped off the WrestleMania sign onto Seth Rollins, subsequently defeating the Monday Night Messiah in a No Disqualification Match.

With WrestleMania 37 now set to be held at Raymond James Stadium, KO has a second chance of getting his big moment. The stadium is home to the newly crowned Superbowl Champion’s the Tampa Bay Buccaneer’s, and is also where you’ll find the 103-foot (31 m), 43-ton steel-and-concrete replica pirate ship.

I want to do it. I can’t promise people that I’m going to do it because, you know, circumstances and whatever. But, I can promise everybody that I’m gonna try as much as possible to do it!

I’ll do my best. I’ll annoy anybody I can. I will get into anyone’s ear I possibly can. I will literally do everything in my power to get to the point where I can jump off that ship.

But, even climbing up the ship, like, it’s already ready in my head. How I’m going to get up there, everything. I studied it. I did my research before I made that claim last year. So, I’m ready for it this year.

Kevin Owens sails are set straight for WrestleMania 37 and that huge pirate ship spot, but his opponent is yet unknown. With his most recent loss to Roman Reigns at the Royal Rumble PPV, there’s no obvious direction for KO, but with SmackDown imminent the winds may pick up.

WrestleMania 37 will air live on 10th and 11th April, 2021 on the WWE Network.
