The main event of Night 2 of WrestleMania 38 might be set in stone but a new report says Kevin Owens and Steve Austin will close Night 1.
In the lead-up to WrestleMania 38, it was reported that WWE had reached out to Austin in an effort to get him to return to action. In the weeks that followed, Austin’s rumoured opponent Kevin Owens made several derogatory comments about Texas, seemingly in an effort to set up a match with the WWE Hall of Famer.
This came to a head on the March 7th episode of Monday Night Raw, where Owens challenged Austin to appear at WrestleMania for a special edition of The KO Show. The following day, Austin featured in a short video accepting the challenge. Despite this, it’s still unclear as to what this confrontation will look like.
Now Reddit user u/kerrmit125 has suggested that The KO Show featuring WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin and Kevin Owens will close Night 1 of WrestleMania rather than a match. In addition, the post adds that Bianca Belair challenging Becky Lynch for the Raw Women’s Championship will open Night 1.
The post has gained traction online as the same user previously seemed to confirm that Queen Sharmell was destined for the WWE Hall Of Fame and that Seth Rollins is on a collision course with Cody Rhodes, something noted wrestling writers seem to agree with.
In regards to Cody Rhodes and Rollins, the post also says that the two men will meet in a match on Night 2 of WrestleMania 38.
