Kevin Owens & Seth Rollins Added To Triple Threat Raw Tag Team Championship Match

Kevin Owens Seth Rollins Raw Tag Team Championship

After defeating RK-Bro on Monday Night Raw, Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins have been added to the Raw Tag Team Championship match that will take place in two weeks.

The main event of Monday Night Raw saw Kevin Owens and Seth Rollins take on RK-Bro with the stipulation that if they defeated the former champions, they’d be added to the Raw Tag Team Championship match taking place in two weeks. Current champions Alpha Academy watched the action on a monitor backstage, heavily invested in whether or not the match would be made a triple threat.

Near the end of the match, Seth Rollins took out Randy Orton on the outside of the ring, leaving Riddle alone to fight for his team. Despite his best efforts, he was overcome by being outnumbered, and after Owens and Rollins hit multiple finishing moves, Riddle was pinned.

RK-Bro had previously earned a chance to attempt regaining their Raw Tag Team Championship when they defeated Alpha Academy in a quiz bowl on a recent episode of Raw. Alpha Academy have been the Raw Tag Team Champions since defeating RK-Bro on the January 10th episode of Raw in a match that saw Randy Orton take the pinfall loss for his team.

Elsewhere on Monday Night Raw, Finn Balor returned to team with Tommaso Ciampa against the Dirty Dawgs, and later in the night he would go on to challenge Damian Priest for a United States Championship match next week. The show also saw YouTube star Logan Paul revealed as the Miz’s mystery tag team partner for WrestleMania, where the pair will take on the Mysterios.
