Kevin Owens has been off WWE TV since March after he bowed out of his WrestleMania 41 match against Randy Orton. The doctors did not clear him for the contest as he had been working through injuries. He is set to undergo a spinal fusion surgery this month for his neck and spinal cord.
Be that as it may, he recently responded to a proposed fight. While the timeline for his recovery and return has not been confirmed yet, Owens is positive about a match against TNA star Mance Warner happening down the line.
Kevin Owens Is Open To Wrestling TNA’s Mance Warner
A video clip has been circulating on X/Twitter where a fan can be seen asking the former WWE Universal Champion about a potential match against Total Nonstop Action Wrestling’s Mance Warner.
The TNA star, who made his debut for the Nashville-based wrestling promotion in January 2025, was previously an independent wrestler who also worked briefly for Major League Wrestling (MLW) and All Elite Wrestling (AEW).
In the aforementioned video, Kevin Owens gave it a thought for a moment before stating, “Yeah, that would be lovely, actually.” With WWE and TNA’s talent exchange partnership today, it is not out of the realm of possibility for this match to get booked. It all depends on when The Prizefighter is ready to get back in the ring.
Before Randy Orton returned and reignited the rivalry with him, Owens was after the Undisputed WWE Championship on SmackDown. However, he failed to dethrone Cody Rhodes at Royal Rumble in a Ladder Match. This was the blow-off to their lengthy rivalry, which commenced in August 2024.
Since early 2017, The Prizefighter has not won a World Title in WWE. Perhaps this motivates him upon return, as fans of the veteran miss him dearly.
