Kevin Owens recently headlined his first WrestleMania against Stone Cold Steve Austin but now he has admitted he could have been jealous of Sami Zayn at the event.

At WrestleMania 38 inside a packed AT&T Stadium, Kevin Owens was scheduled to host The KO Show with special guest, WWE Hall Of Famer Stone Cold Steve Austin. When both men were in the ring however Owens revealed his true intentions as he challenged Austin to his first match in 19 years.

In front of a home-state crowd, Steve Austin duly took Owens up on his offer before he beat the former Universal Champion all over Dallas, ending the bout with his patented Stunner to claim his sixth win on The Grandest Stage Of Them All.

Speaking to Metro.co.uk, Kevin Owens admitted that if he hadn’t got to mix it up with one of the biggest wrestling stars of all time, he’d have been jealous of his close friend Sami Zayn’s chance to mix it up with Jackass star, Johnny Knoxville:

“I love the Jackass movies, I’ve always loved them, I’ve been a fan of Johnny Knoxville for a long time. The fact that Sami gets to do this with him is so awesome. If I wasn’t in the ring with Stone Cold this weekend, I’d be real bitter and jealous! It’s all good, I’m happy for him.”

Zayn and Knoxville stole the show on WrestleMania Sunday as Jackass came to WrestleMania in earnest with Wee Man even making an appearance to body slam the former Intercontinental Champion.
