Kevin Owens Issues Ultimatum To WWE

Kevin Owens has broken his silence regarding his change in behaviour in WWE.

Following his loss to Cody Rhodes back at Bash in Berlin, the former Universal Champion has grown more and more frustrated on SmackDown, especially as The American Nightmare chose to team with Roman Reigns at Bad Blood given everything that Rhodes and Owens had gone through with The Bloodline in the past few years.

Although the current and former Undisputed Champion were victorious in the main event of Bad Blood, fan footage was later posted online showing Cody Rhodes being attacked by Owens after the show went off the air. Even though fans are aware of what happened, the assault has been barely mentioned on TV since.

With Owens attempting to explain himself on the October 11th SmackDown, he was instead cut off and not given the opportunity. Because of this, Owens has taken to social media to state that he has been given no other choice.

In the video, Owens said there has been a lot of questions about Bad Blood that there has been “a lot of judgement” over what he did. The former Universal Champion added that WWE has not allowed him to tell his own side of the story as he was told to stay home and he had his mic cut.

Continuing, Owens stated he sent a video to the company that he hoped would air on Raw but was not broadcast while pointing out that the show had time for a segment with Rhodes. Closing out the video, Owens stated that addressing his issues on social media was not the way he wanted to go but if the company won’t tell his side of the story, he will do it himself:

“I’m giving them until this Friday on SmackDown to air my video so that people can hear what I have to say and if they don’t, then I guess I’ll post it here.”

In a further update, a new report has provided the latest on the WWE star’s contract negotiations.
