Kevin Owens Says Even He Doesn’t Know What Stone Cold Segment Will Involve

Kevin Owens Stone Cold Steve Austin

Ahead of his monumental clash with ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin 19 years after the Texas Rattlesnake’s last match in WWE, Kevin Owens claims the fans aren’t alone in wondering what his clash with the Bionic Redneck will entail – as he says he doesn’t even know!

While there’s no news on whether the segment will take the form of an official match, Kevin Owens is set to join an elite club of WWE Superstars who have had WrestleMania moments with WWE Hall of Famer ‘Stone Cold’ Steve Austin.

The Prizefighter has revealed that he’s currently being left in the dark over what shape the head-to-head will take in an exclusive interview with Inside The Ropes‘ very own Kenny McIntosh:

“Well, so he’s obviously talking like you said, he sounds like Stone Cold. He’s talking like Stone Cold and like I said on Raw on Monday, he kind of has to be that way I feel like because it’s WrestleMania and people have expectations. I really don’t know what, it’s funny because as I’m standing here telling you, I don’t know what’s going to happen and people watching this are probably like, ‘Yeah, right’. I really don’t know what’s going on.”

Former Universal Champion Kevin Owens went on to say:

“That’s I think the most exciting part of doing something with Stone Cold Steve Austin is that I was told very clearly by someone who worked with him for a very long time, you won’t know what’s going to happen until you’re out there. Be ready for anything. It’s Stone Cold Steve Austin.

So that’s what I’m going into it, the mentality I’m going into it with and hey, if he wants to fight, you know, I’ve got this whole Fight Owens Gight thing, it just rolls off the tongue and why not?”
