Kevin Owens had the time of his life in Detroit.
In a video posted to WWE’s YouTube channel, Owens revealed that he is ecstatic to be in Detroit for SummerSlam weekend. Not only because of the major Premium Live Event taking place but because he gets to make some new friends!
The Tag Team Champion revealed that usually when Superstars travel to shows there is not a lot of time to see the city they are performing in, but an exception had to be made to visit the Detroit Zoo.
Beginning at the penguin exhibit, Owens showed off his championships to the penguins who were impressed by the shiny titles. Riding the train to the next exhibit, Owens came face-to-face with a giraffe and got to participate in feeding time.
Owens stated that the visit to the zoo was even better than SummerSlam and that the PLE would not be able to top these memories for the former Universal Champion.
The former Universal Champion has since returned to WWE after a brief absence due to a fractured rib injury.
When is Kevin Owens Back In WWE?
After being written off of TV by The Judgment Day, Owens has been absent for a number of weeks to heal a broken rib. It is expected that the Tag Team Champion will be back soon as the injury is not serious and will not require the titles to be stripped from himself and Sami Zayn.
Following multiple attempts from Owens and Zayn to dethrone Roman Reigns, the best friends would be unsuccessful but managed to get revenge on The Bloodline by defeating The Usos to capture the Tag Titles for the first time ever as a team.
