After weeks of insisting that Ezekiel is his older brother Elias, Kevin Owens challenged Ezekiel to a match at the upcoming Hell in a Cell!
The night after WrestleMania, a familiar face showed up on Monday Night Raw. Despite looking just like Elias, the man who interrupted Kevin Owens claimed to be Ezekiel, Elias’ younger brother.
In the following weeks, Owens would go on a rampage trying to prove that Ezekiel was in fact Elias, despite what everyone else on the roster has to say. After Ezekiel passed a lie detector test, Owens tried to perform a DNA test on some of the WWE Superstar’s hair – but last week it was revealed that the DNA test was contaminated with barbecue sauce and was inconclusive.
On the latest episode of Monday Night Raw, Elias’ brother faced Chad Gable in a rematch from last week, and once again defeated him. Instead of being on commentary properly like he was last week, Owens screamed at the commentators as he sat ringside, accusing them of spreading the lie that the star is Elias’ brother and not Elias himself.

After the match, Owens’ anger boiled to the surface and he chased his foe away before getting on the microphone and challenging the man he believes to be Elias to a match at Hell in a Cell on June 5th.

Elsewhere on Monday Night Raw, Becky Lynch defeated Asuka in the main event and earned her way into a triple threat match for the Raw Women’s Championship at Hell in a Cell. MVP defeated Bobby Lashley by countout and will be able to choose the stipulation for Lashley vs. Omos at Hell in a Cell. Full results from the May 23rd episode of Raw can be found here.
