Kevin Nash Wants 42-Year-Old Star To Win His First World Title In WWE

Kevin Nash put forth his views about a 42-year-old star not winning his first World Title in WWE.

The recently concluded Clash In Paris Premium Live Event was headlined by a Fatal 4-Way match between Seth Rollins, LA Knight, Jey Uso, and CM Punk for the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, in which The Visionary managed to retain his title due to an interference by Becky Lynch.

While the plot twist justified Rollins’ win and kept the storyline between him and Punk going, many fans were upset about the fact that LA Knight lost. The 42-year-old has been one of the most popular stars in the promotion, and the WWE Universe has clamored for him to win a World Title.

Kevin Nash recently spoke about this match and agreed that the outcome should have been Knight taking home his first WWE World Title.

Kevin Nash Discusses Why LA Knight Should Have Won At WWE Clash In Paris

On the recent episode of the Kliq This! Podcast, Nash was asked to share his thoughts on the match by co-host Sean Oliver. Big Daddy Cool expressed his frustration at the outcome, stating that Knight winning would really not have affected the programming of the event.

The former WCW World Heavyweight Champion justified his stance by stating that Knight had all the momentum going in and had put in the work to get his title shot. He recalled an incident in WCW where he, along with others, had convinced Eric Bischoff to put the title on Lex Luger as Luger’s popularity was on the rise.

He added that they decided on Luger winning as it would break the monotony of the show, something that WWE should also have considered while booking the bout at the PLE:

Would it have hurt the fu**ing programming, if LA Knight would have fu**ing went over?

[Would it have hurt the programming? I mean, the booking, I mean,]

Like he worked his a** off. He fu**ing, I mean, he had some great shine. Like it does it? I remember when Lex [Luger] was fu**ing red hot, and we fu**ing went in, and we just told Eric [Bischoff]. We said, like. We were at Auburn Hills, and nobody was supposed to beat [Hulk] Hogan until Sting, and it was just like Lex was red fu**ing hot. It was time, like, we couldn’t fu**ing wait. So, we fu**ing talked them into fu**ing turn it, putting the belts on Lex for a short little run to fu**ing just to break the monotony, [and it would have been unpredictable] and you wouldn’t have had a fu**ed finish that you have every fu**ing week.”
