Kevin Nash Names One Of The “Top 5 Promos Guys Of All-Time”

In the debut episode of Kliq This: The Kevin Nash Podcast, Kevin Nash revealed John Cena to be amongst the “top 5 promos guys of all-time.”

As a 16 time world champion, John Cena has proved to be one of the greatest WWE Superstars of all time. This was recognized on the June 27th edition of Monday Night Raw as WWE celebrated 20 years of the Franchise Player. This episode was broadcast live from Laredo, Texas where Cena returned and addressed the WWE Universe in a promo.

According to Kevin Nash on Kliq This, Cena’s promo was “solid”, but it was noticeable that he had been lacking some of his amazing promo skills. Nash also mentioned that having Cena in Laredo was a bit off and that having him in more of a ‘wrestling hotspot’ would’ve been more beneficial for the company.

“Cena did an interview and I thought it was kind of weird. I know John’s super busy, but like to have him come back to Laredo, it just didn’t ya know, of all places like, nothing against Laredo it’s just when I think of wrestling hotspots ya know. Laredo? And you know he cut a promo and one of the things I’ll say for John is probably top 5 promo guy of all time.”

“To me cutting a promo is like playing golf and you could tell that John had not cut a promo in a while. It was still solid, but it didn’t have the same, ya know”

John Cena has cut spectacular promos that have made fans feel a rush of different emotions. His passion and charisma helps him connect with fans watching both on TV and in person, but regardless of how the promo went, we were assured by Cena that we would be seeing him in the ring again soon.
