In a tragic update, Kevin Nash has confirmed that Scott Hall’s life support will soon be ‘discontinued’ once his family has arrived and is in a position to say their final goodbyes.
Paying tribute to his friend and former tag team partner, Nash would post on Instagram discussing his love and admiration for the man once known as ‘The Bad Guy’ whilst revealing the heart-breaking news that once Hall’s family are in place they will be discontinuing his life support to allow Hall to pass peacefully surrounded by those who love him most.
“Scott’s on life support. Once his family is in place they will discontinue life support. I’m going to lose the one person on this planet I’ve spent more of my life with than anyone else. My heart is broken and I’m so very fucking sad.
I love Scott with all my heart but now I have to prepare my life without him in the present. I’ve been blessed to have a friend that took me at face value and I him. When we jumped to WCW we didn’t care who liked or hated us.
We had each other and with the smooth Barry Bloom, we changed wrestling both in content and pay for those..…..a lot that disliked us. We were the “Outsiders” but we had each other.
Scott always felt he wasn’t worthy of the afterlife. Well God please have some gold-plated toothpicks for my brother. My life was enriched with his take on life. He wasn’t perfect but as he always said “The last perfect person to walk the planet they nailed to a cross”
As we prepare for life without him just remember there goes a great guy you ain’t going to see another one like him again. See ya down the road, Scott. I couldn’t love a human being any more than I do you.”
According to Wade Keller of PWTorch, Scott Hall suffered three heart attacks on the night of March 12th and was placed on life support. These were the result of complications arising from the hip replacement surgery Hall underwent last week. Following the surgery, a blood clot got loose, leading to further issues.
Scott Hall, also known by his popular moniker Razor Ramon, is widely regarded as one of the greatest wrestlers of all time and his loss will be felt around the industry by those who had the honour of watching him or working with him in the wrestling industry during his incredible 32-year career.
Scott Hall began his career in the CWF in 1984, before moving to the AWA a year later, winding up in WCW in 1989. However, Hall found success hard to come by, breaking away from WCW at the end of the year, heading to a number of promotions including New Japan Pro Wrestling.
By 1991 he was back in WCW as the Diamond Studd, but it wasn’t until he switched to the WWF in 1992, that Hall got his big break. Wrestling as Razor Ramon, with a heavy influence of the character Tony Montana from Scarface, Hall rose up the card, enjoying numerous Intercontinental Championship reigns.
During this spell, Hall defeated Shawn Michaels in a highly acclaimed Ladder Match at WrestleMania X. In 1996, Scott Hall jumped back to WCW, launching an ‘invasion’ which included bringing in his friend Kevin Nash. Both men had left the WWF weeks earlier, following the now infamous ‘Curtain call.’
