WCW Bash At The Beach 1996 changed pro wrestling forever when The nWo was formed, a moment that changed Kevin Nash’s life forever.
Heading into WCW Bash At The Beach 1996, the headline attraction saw The Outsiders make their return to the ring, facing Sting, Randy Savage, and Lex Luger. A mystery partner was hyped up as “the third man”, which was ultimately revealed as Hulk Hogan. From that moment forward, the world of professional wrestling was never the same.
The New World Order was formed, with multiple members joining Hogan, Kevin Nash, and Scott Hall over the years. When broken down, though, they’re the trio most commonly associated with the Hall of Fame faction.
Kevin Nash has recognised this in a poignant tweet on the 26th anniversary of the group’s formation. ‘Big Daddy Cool’ claimed that the forming of The nWo had changed his life forever:
26 years ago my life changed forever. Happy 26th Birthday NWO. pic.twitter.com/SY3QTrOLuL

Kevin Nash remained a member of The New World Order for the vast majority of the stable’s time together. During this time, the then-WCW head booker held the WCW World Heavyweight Championship twice and the WCW World Tag Team Championships seven times; six times with Scott Hall and once alongside Sting.
The former Diesel was one of four nWo members inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame as part of the 2020 class alongside Hulk Hogan, Scott Hall, and Sean ‘X-Pac’ Waltman. Together, they also appeared on the second night of WrestleMania 37. This marked the stable’s final televised appearance before Scott Hall tragically passed away.
