Kevin Nash Excited For Future Of WWE
Kevin Nash has been a close friend of the King of Kings for a number of years, while also standing across from The Game in the ring. The former World Champions went to war in 2011, fighting in a Sledgehammer Ladder Match at the 2011 TLC pay-per-view.
Speaking on the Kliq This podcast, the former nWo member stated that the new Chief Content Officer’s passion for the product is one of the reasons why the product has become more watchable in the past 6 months, with the rise of Sami Zayn being a highlight across the programming:
“I know that he loves it, but he also loves the industry. He absolutely loves the industry… When was the last time WWE storytelling had anything that could touch the emotion with the Sami Zayn situation?”
With other big shows SummerSlam, Survivor Series and the Royal Rumble receiving high praise from the fans, the WWE Universe is hoping for a repeat performance at WrestleMania 39, which will be the first Mania that The Cerebral Assassin will be at the head of creative for.
Nash continued, going on to say that he is also excited for what the future holds for the company with Paul Levesque heading up the creative side of the show:
“When he first took over and I just said he’s got a blank canvas, I’m really looking forward to seeing what Paul paints, and he f*cking — I mean, I think it’s a work of art.”
