Kevin Nash and Becky Lynch are a hot topic of discussion within the world of pro wrestling as of late. Lynch is currently involved in a blockbuster RAW and SmackDown feud, and Nash is very vocal about how he sees The Man. The latest comments aimed at Seth Rollins’ wife by the former Diesel may be his most harsh yet.
Big Kev has drawn support and backlash in recent weeks for his scathing remarks on the current WWE Women’s Intercontinental Champion. On the latest episode on his Kliq This podcast, Nash and co-host Sean Oliver discussed the RAW segment that saw Lynch slap Punk, one night after hitting him with a low blow to help husband Seth Rollins retain the World Heavyweight Championship in the Fatal 4 Way main event of WWE Clash In Paris.
Big Time Beck looked as if she showed up to last week’s RAW and didn’t know she’d be booked, according to Kevin Nash. The two-time WWE Hall of Famer said Lynch seemingly stopped at TJ Maxx to pick up her outfit on the way to the show. Nash aimed more criticism at Lynch, and really took an issue with how the storyline and actual segment were drawn out too long. Oliver asked if Nash would have a different take if things were shorter, and why length matters. He pointed to the obvious pay-off: the return of AJ Lee, which happened on SmackDown.
“No, because I know what they’re doing. All they’re doing is setting up AJ coming back. [Oliver: that’s the general consensus, but why does the length of the segment matter… to draw it out and make Lynch more of a heel?] If Kevin Nash… OK, I was taught as a young, not even an adult, as a young man, that you never f***ing argue with anybody that you can’t f***ing punch in the face. So, you can’t punch a woman in the face, so there’s no reason to argue with her. You can’t punch an old man, there’s no reason to argue with him. I wold have f***ing left the ring if it was real life, and when she tried to block me, I would f***ing put my hands above my f***ing head, and I would use my body weight to get to the ropes, and I would f***ing exit the f***ing ring,” Kevin Nash said.
He continued:
“I’d leave her out there with her f***ing c**chie in her f***ing hand, and you f***ing take the mic, you can say whatever you want. I came here for your f***ing husband, I didn’t come to f***ing see you, I didn’t come to put up with your s**t, I don’t need to hear your f***ing s**t, your husband’s a f***ing b***h. That’s my point, I’ve said it, now I’m leaving. I don’t need another 12-14 minutes to set up an angle whether it’s happening or not, of you’re going to pay for that, putting your hands on me,” Kevin Nash said.
Kevin Nash Still Not Impressed With Becky Lynch
On the latest episode of Kliq This, Kevin Nash also expressed disappointment in the low blow finish in the WWE Clash In Paris main event. The 13-time WCW champion tried to imagine Scott Hall giving The Rock a low blow for the finish to the legendary Hulk Hogan match at WrestleMania 18. Co-host Sean Oliver said this was a point well-taken, and joked that at least this gave Lynch the chance to say “gross ball sweat” on RAW the next night.
Nash wasn’t impressed by the predictability, and brought up Lynch’s recent Ozzy Osbourne controversy. The former nWo heavyweight then discussed the idea behind drawing heat in certain situations, and recalled what he would tell other wrestlers back in his day.
“I knew it was coming, though. It just feels so f***ing contrived. It was like the Ozzy Osbourne thing, there’s no reason to f***ing go there. When you f***ing… it’s like, ‘Oh man, you guys are losers. The only people that are bigger losers than you are the Eagles here in Philadelphia tonight!’ Cheap heat, cheap heat, cheap heat… like, come on, man. Where are we at? And you’re The Man? You’re The Man? [Oliver: but was this written for her? there is no confirmation that it was written or not] Well, I’m sorry… I’m sorry, God if… maybe f***ing times have changed,” Kevin Nash said.
He continued:
“But I think it’s… what’s the old saying in pro wrestling? It’s better to ask for forgiveness than permission? If something f***ing sucks… you should be able to f***ing go some place, shut your… I used to tell guys all the time, they’d say, ‘What’s missing?’ I said, ‘When you f***ing shift gears in your heat, you’re not shifting gears. Think about this… go in a corner somewhere before your match and think about your opponent, and think about you coming home from the road and he’s f***ing on the f***ing counter banging your old lady, and what would you f***ing do to him? Because he doesn’t see you coming, and you’re coming up behind him,'” Kevin Nash said.
Kevin Nash continued and said if he were in such a debacle, he’d probably hit the offender with a low blow. He continued tearing the segment apart, declaring it not worth a Tony Award nomination, or an Academy Award nod.
“I would probably drop and hit him in the balls. [Oliver motions for low blow] Boom, yeah, but I’m just saying, you have to put yourself in a position where, like… what would you do primally? Nobody’s going to sit there, like… Phil’s not going to sit there and let her just run him down, and I didn’t feel it, it was… I mean, I wouldn’t even give it a f***ing nod for a [Tony Award], let alone f***ing any kind of Academy Award. [Oliver admits he was engaged by Lynch in the segment, possibly because of the close-ups, because he says there was nothing especially interesting in the promo] Name f***ing three f***ing highlights in the promo. [Oliver: there weren’t but ‘gross ball sweat’ was said] If that’s a highlight, man… like, we’re… that’s pretty guttural,” Kevin Nash said.
