On October 20th, 2022 it was announced that Tristen Nash had passed away aged just 26-years-old. Tristen was a musician and a poet and had been working with his father on his Kliq This podcast shortly before his untimely death.
In the days after his son’s passing, Kevin Nash spoke openly about the heart-breaking loss revealing that the pair had recently committed to stopping drinking in a bid to help Tristen move past his previous issues with alcohol.
Kevin Nash Discusses Son’s Passing
Speaking on a recent episode of his podcast, Nash again discussed his son, this time in more worrying terms.
“Today is week 12 that I lost my boy. Time flies when you got a gun in your mouth, I mean time flies when you’re having fun.”
Co-host Kevin Oliver responded, urging Nash not to make such comments as he owns guns before Nash added that he can do “whatever the f*ck he wants” as long as he “leaves a note.”
Continuing on, Nash discussed what his daily life looks like without Tristen.
“Every morning when I wake up, the first thing that happens is, I come to the realization that instead of there being three human beings in my home, there’s now two. And the third person isn’t on vacation or staying with friends, or is out late. He is never coming back. And then I sit up in the bed and I have absolutely nothing I have to do, and it’s like, ‘so, why am I getting out of bed?’
