Kevin Nash Apologises For Being “A D*ck” To The Rock

The Rock

WWE Hall Of Famer Kevin Nash has issued a public apology to The Rock after admitting he had acted like “a d*ck” to The Great One.

In 2002 The Rock was one of the two biggest stars in WWE by quite some way and was on the verge of making the move to Hollywood and winding down his incredible wrestling career.

At the beginning of that year, WWE had a lethal dose of poison injected when Vince McMahon announced that the nWo was coming to WWE marking the return of Kevin Nash, Scott Hall, and Hollywood Hulk Hogan to the company.

Very quickly the nWo came face to face with The Rock with the black and white clad trio facing the dream team of The Rock and Stone Cold Steve Austin on the 11th of March 2002 episode of Raw. From there Austin faced Hall at WrestleMania 18 with The Rock and Hogan meeting on The Grandest Stage Of Them All in one of the most memorable bouts of all time.

Kevin Nash took to social media to share a gym selfie and thanked The Rock for putting out the range of sneakers that Nash was wearing. Rock responded congratulating Nash on the tremendous shape he is in before Nash paid tribute to the movie star’s work ethic and also apologised for his behaviour back in 2002:

“Following your lead. You’re work ethic is amazing. You’re filming schedule would kill most mortals but the promotion for your films is the grind. You film and promote at the same time. Sorry I was such a d*ck to you when I came back in 2002. Just trying to keep my spot.”

The Rock recently discussed another man he has had bad blood with, his Fast and Furious co-star Vin Diesel, talking about their ill-fated clear-the-air meeting that took place in Rock’s trailer.
