WWE Hall of Famer Kevin Nash has been suffering from severe neck pain, which looks bad enough that surgical intervention may be required.
The life of a wrestler is rarely pain-free. Nearly every day, there are reports of wrestlers experiencing neck and back pain, because quite simply: bumps hurt.
Kevin Nash is the latest wrestler to possibly require surgery for his decade-long wrestling career in WWE/F and WCW. On his “Kliq This” podcast, Nash talked at length about his neck troubles.
“I’m hunting for probably a neck surgeon. I don’t know [if I’ll have to have it fused]. It’s getting…I talked to the people from bio accelerator and she’s saying, ‘Give it some more time, it’s just been a couple months.’ I think about it and just like, my shoulders have gotten way better, like night and day. My neck is just, I’ve got a C2 and a C5 that are not good. It’s the discs.”
While on the subject, Kevin Nash was questioned about his prior medical interventions and whether his gym regimen plays a role in any way.
“I did my shoulders again. I did my shoulders and my neck all three times. I still lift heavy. It’s just hard, when you’re pressing your head on bench presses and shit. I got so many gimmicks at my house. None of that shit works.”
When Did Kevin Nash Last Wrestle?
Kevin Nash’s last match took place on the 10th of August, 2018, in a Gauntlet match for Big Time Wrestling. He won the BTW Heavyweight Title in a match which also involved Darren Young, James Ellsworth, and Flex Armstrong.
This means that it has been over five years since anybody has felt the wrath of Kevin Nash’s Jackknife Powerbomb. Reflecting on his career recently, Nash opened up about the move’s surprising origin.
