Kenny Omega vs. Moose To Take Place At AEW’s Daily’s Place

Kenny Omega & Don Callis

AEW Champion Kenny Omega will defend the IMPACT World Championship against Moose at Against The Odds this Saturday. However, the title match will not take place at the Impact Zone in Nashville – but at the home of AEW, Daily’s Place in Jacksonville.

Tony Khan appeared on IMPACT Wrestling alongside Scott D’Amore to drop the announcement calling Daily’s Place “the top wrestling venue in the world”. Moose, who won the opportunity to fight for the championship at Under Siege, will step foot onto Kenny Omega’s home turf to challenge for the IMPACT World Title and the belt he actually held for a lengthy spell in the TNA World Championship.

The announcement also confirmed that Sami Callihan is next in line for a title shot, and challenge either Moose or Kenny Omega for the IMPACT World Championship at Slammiversary in July. D’Amore, Khan, and Callis all agreed that Against All Odds should be one on one, and the change of venue was made in order to try and eliminate any outside interference.

The “forbidden door” is now swinging both ways. AEW stars such as Private Party, Matt Hardy and of course Omega appeared on IMPACT Wrestling. However, this is the first time an IMPACT star will appear outside of the Impact Zone.
