After finding success in Ring of Honor and becoming World Champion Seth Rollins headed to WWE in 2010. The former Tyler Black spent two years in Florida Championship Wrestling and later NXT before arriving on the main roster as part of The Shield in 2012.
This began a stellar run for Rollins which has seen him win multiple World Championships, the Royal Rumble, Money In The Bank and feature in the main event of WrestleMania. Although World Championship gold has eluded him in 2022, Rollins remains heavily featured on television and faced Cody Rhodes when he returned to the company at WrestleMania 38.
Vince Russo Hits Out At Seth Rollins
However, despite his success, not everyone sees Seth Rollins as anything particularly special. Speaking on Writing with Russo, Vince Russo claimed that there is little that makes the star standout.
“If you’re looking at Seth Rollins right now, two levels for the Hall of Fame is what you’re looking at. Okay, he’s a good little hand, and number two, he’s been there for a while. Guess what, bro? If that’s how the baseball Hall of Fame works, everybody would be in it. If you’re there, you’re a good little hand, and then if you can stick around for X number of years, everybody would be in it. There’s gotta be something special, something special about you. What is special about the dude? Just ask yourself that question, man.”
As the comments made their way online, Rollins found an unlikely ally in the form of AEW star Kenny Omega. The former AEW World Champion said that Rollins will one day be a very deserving inductee into the Hall of Fame.
I’ll laugh now since I can comfortably predict that he’s a future (very deserving) HOF’r https://t.co/Gv4AZKCbd9
