Kenny Omega Mocks Reported Issues With CM Punk

Kenny Omega

With CM Punk reportedly coming closer to a return to All Elite Wrestling, Kenny Omega has had some fun with the apparent tensions surrounding the star.

Punk has not been seen on AEW TV since All Out in September. At the event, he won the promotions World Championship from Jon Moxley. However, things went downhill from there as he launched a scathing attack on multiple stars – including Omega and The Young Bucks – during the post-show press conference.

Backstage, a brawl erupted between Punk, Ace Steel, and The Elite, resulting in everyone involved being suspended.

While The Elite has since returned to action, it was thought Punk wouldn’t be seen in the company again.

In recent weeks, however, that seems to have changed with several reports pointing to him not only coming back but potentially being set to headline the promotion’s new Saturday night TV show.

While Punk is seemingly scheduled to be part of a meeting with Tony Khan, FTR, and Chris Jericho in the near future, it is unknown what The Elite thinks of the situation.

Kenny Omega “spills the beans”

The Best Bout Machine is aware that fans want to know his opinion on the matter, and he has now jokingly took to Twitter to “spill the beans”.

Omega admitted he has a “huge problem” with people on the roster, but rather than Punk, he was talking about the Blackpool Combat Club, who he is currently embroiled in an onscreen feud with.

Since everyone is asking, I’ll spill the beans… I have a huge problem with certain people on our roster – And they happen to be members of the Blackpool Combat Club! I’ll speak more about it Wednesday on #AEWDynamite
