Kenny Omega Issues Huge Challenge For AEW Grand Slam Australia

The WWE Hall Of Famer Kenny Omega Says He Enjoyed Watching The Most

Kenny Omega has issued a big challenge for Grand Slam Australia.

On Dynamite’s latest 22nd January episode, Omega and Will Ospreay kicked off the show. With a passionate exchange of words, Omega and Ospreay seemed to continue their past issues before a bigger threat popped up.

While the two continued their verbal battle, Don Callis’ music hit and cut off Omega’s segment. This prompted The Cleaner to chase Callis around the arena before Konosuke Takeshita and other family members emerged.

After a lengthy battle, Omega and Ospreay dropped their opponents with stereo moonsaults. Soon, Kenny Omega put aside his issues with The Aerial Assassin and challenged Kyle Fletcher and Konosuke Takeshita to a match at Grand Slam Australia on February 15th.

The match has now been confirmed and added to the card alongside Toni Storm versus Mariah May for the Australian event.

AEW Veteran Believes Kenny Omega’s Return Was A Blessing

Speaking on the My World podcast. Jeff Jarrett claimed that Kenny Omega’s AEW return was a blessing for all.

“A blessing for all involved. I don’t know the exact ins and outs, I won’t even do it justice, it was more than a health scare. For him to come back and match one, literally match one, that was amazing. That’s all I’ll say. He is a once in a lifetime professional wrestler. This ain’t his first rodeo, for him to come back on that stage and have that intensity, hats off to my man.”
