AEW Tag Team Champions Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland received a raucous reception as they surprised a middle school wrestling club.
The AEW Tag Team Champions Swerve In Our Glory took time out from their preparations ahead of AEW Grand Slam in Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York to make a middle school wrestling club’s day.
The wrestling club’s teacher took to social media to share a video of Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland entering to great acclaim in the school, thanking both men for taking the time out to visit.
Thank you @swerveconfident and @RealKeithLee for stopping by and hanging with The Wrestling Club.

This isn’t the first time the middle school class has been graced with wrestling stars. Back in March a teacher at Brooklyn, New York’s KIPP AMP Middle School put a clip on social media that showed students who formed the school’s wrestling club watching the battle between Sasha Banks and Bayley inside Hell In A Cell back in 2020.
In May, before she walked out of WWE, Sasha Banks made her appearance at the wrestling club, surprising the students who were engrossed in her Iron Man match from NXT TakeOver: Respect in 2015, once again taking on her friend and rival, Bayley.
Keith Lee and Swerve Strickland will have their hands full at AEW Grand Slam when they put their AEW Tag Team Championship on the line against The Acclaimed.
