Kazuchika Okada’s AEW Revolution 2025 opponent now confirmed.
With roughly a few days left for the Revolution 2025 PPV, the match card is almost set. With a heavily stacked card, fans are in line to witness multiple championship bouts, including the men’s and women’s world title defenses.
However, to top it off, All Elite Wrestling recently also announced the addition of the Continental Championship defense. Current Champion Kazuchika Okada is now all set to defend his title against Brody King at the PPV.
Okada’s last title defense was against King’s teammate Buddy Matthews at Grand Slam Australia. After a few interactions for the past few weeks, Okada versus King was announced for the show in Las Vegas by Tony Khan on social media.
Matthews was reportedly injured during his match in Australia and has not wrestled since. This match will mark the first time Brody King and Okada have competed against one another. Okada, who has been the champion for almost a year now, defeated Eddie Kingston on 20 March 2024 to win the title.
Okada is also set to tag with Ricochet and face the team of Swerve Strickland and Brody King on the March 5th episode of Dynamite.
