Kazuchika Okada Makes AEW Debut

Kazuchika Okada poses in ring

Kazuchika Okada has made a shock appearance on AEW Dynamite, coming to the aid of Hangman Adam Page.

The Rainmaker has arrived in All Elite Wrestling!

On the June 22nd edition of AEW Dynamite, Hangman Adam Page defeated Silas Young who was making his debut as Adam Cole watched on from the commentary booth.

After the match, Cole left the announce desk and said it was ‘”story time with Adam Cole.” However, before the Undisputed Elite star could continue, he was interrupted by IWGP World Heavyweight Champion Jay White.

The Switchblade marched to the ring and said that he had given Forbidden Door a lot of thought, explaining that he wouldn’t be facing Cole because he had lost to Hangman Page twice. White and Page began to brawl in the ring, before the former AEW Champion was felled by a low blow as he prepared to deliver the Buckshot Lariat.

Cole then grabbed the title belt before teasing hitting White, but before the action went any further, the beatdown was interrupted by Kazuchika Okada.

Okada evened the odds and went to hit White with the Rainmaker, but the IWGP Heavyweight Champion escaped, leaving Okada and Page to stand tall.

Elsewhere on Dynamite, Bryan Danielson came to the ring to address his status for Forbidden Door. Danielson explained that he would love nothing more than to appear at the event but due to the actions of Jake Hager and Chris Jericho at Double or Nothing, he has not been medically cleared to compete.

However, he also conformed that an opponent of his choosing would be squaring off against Zack Sabre Jr at the AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door super-show.
