Kayla Braxton Comes Out As Bisexual With Incredible Inspirational Message

Kayla Braxton

WWE announcer Kayla Braxton has revealed she’s bisexual in an emotional social media post.

Taking to Twitter, Braxton would subtly come out by flying the flag for bisexuality with a tweet simply saying, “Random Wednesday amirite?” The backstage commentator extraordinaire would then leave no doubt in anyone’s minds, by posting an incredibly heartfelt message about “having to choose” before saying she’s over making those kinds of decisions – and that she chooses to be Kayla Braxton.

“My whole life, I’ve had to choose. Are you black? Are you white? Which bubble do you fill in on the SATs? I always filled in “other” because nothing applied to me. Tonight, I choose to be over having to choose. Hello world. I’m Kayla. Oh. And yeah – I’m Bi.”

Braxton’s announcement was met with an incredible outpouring of support from wrestlers and fans alike with Beth Phoenix and Lance Storm among her supporters. Since posting, though, Kayla Braxton has seemingly deactivated her Twitter account.

The 27-year-old signed with WWE in 2016, debuting in October in NXT as a host and ring announcer before appearing as a backstage interviewer at Backlash in 2017, followed by subsequent appearances at several pay-per-views – including SummerSlam. Braxton would quickly become a staple of WWE programming before becoming a ring announcer and backstage interviewer across all WWE programming, including RAW and SmackDown. While Braxton has left NXT, she now holds a permanent role on SmackDown, and hosting both Talking Smack and The Bump.

Inside The Ropes wishes Kayla Braxton all the happiness in the world going forward, and we hope others find inspiration in her message.
