Sami Zayn sent Karrion Kross packing from WWE after their SummerSlam Saturday showdown, which was Kross’ final match with the company. The intriguing rivalry led to the WWE Universe rallying for Kross in a major way, but unfortunately he was still released, unless this turns out to be a big work. Kross tried to warn the wrestling world about Zayn’s true nature, that he really was not a good guy, and would take the path of darkness to success. Now Kross may be on the road to vindication.
WWE is currently taping John Cena’s final Irish SmackDown in Dublin at the 3Arena. The episode is airing live on Netflix internationally, but will also air via tape delay in the usual USA Network timeslot later tonight. A backstage segment early in the show featured several Superstars connected to The Bloodline: Zayn, Jimmy Uso, and My Family Tree.
Solo Sikoa’s MFT faction looked on as the current WWE United States Champion tried to provoke Jimmy Uso over Naomi’s RAW pregnancy announcement. Big Jim’s younger brother taunted him, suggesting the expecting parents name the baby after Uncle Solo. Uso dismissed the idea with a gesture, loudly explained by the crowd in the background, as Sami told Sikoa the meaning: NO-YEET.
“In fact, I don’t think you need to worry about naming other people’s babies. You need to worry about holding onto your United States Championship,” Sami Zayn said.

The Problem then changed his tune and asked Zayn what he planned to do about it. Solo then asked Sami if he had just another “Underdog Story” in mind.
The Ultimate Underdog, who is now on SmackDown full-time, fired back with a reference to the 24-minute main event of Night One of WrestleMania 39, where he and Kevin Owens dethroned The Usos to become the new Undisputed WWE Tag Team Champions.
“No, no, no, no. You’re not dealing with ‘Underdog’ Sami Zayn, you’re dealing with ‘WrestleMania Main Eventer’ Sami Zayn,” said Sami Zayn.
The WWE Universe could be heard cheering in the arena as Zayn shut down Sikoa’s heel antics. Sami stood Solo down, and said Jimmy knows what he’s talking about, which Jimmy confirmed. The former NXT North American Champion looked Zayn up and down, told his older brother they’d see each other later, and then walked off with JC Mateo, Tonga Loa, and Talla Tonga following.
