Karrion Kross has recently been released from WWE after his contract expired on August 10.
Kross shared a YouTube video talking about his experience in the company, the issues he faced, and how he feels about his contract expiring. He shared some things no one was aware of yet, showing his gratitude towards them.
One such example was The Maverick Logan Paul. Kross shared about an emotional moment with Paul following WrestleMania 41. Kross wasn’t on the match card for WrestleMania 41, despite the venue being Kross’s hometown, Las Vegas. He did make an appearance on the ringside during the match between Paul and AJ Styles.
Kross revealed it was Paul who pushed him to be involved in the match. In the YouTube video titled My WWE Contract Ends Today, Kross said:
One thing that I thought was really awesome that he did was, he was somebody who actually pushed for me to be involved in the match with him and AJ at Wrestlemania. And I found out like only a few hours before I was actually going to do it,” Kross said. (7:09 – 7:27)
Kross praised Paul, saying he and his wife like him and that he is great. Following WrestleMania, Kross went to thank Paul personally.
I thought that was really cool that he did that. When I saw him the next day, I at the very least made sure that he knew. I went up to him and I shook his hands, said thank you. I know you said something cuz somebody told me he was very cool about it,” Kross added. (7:27 – 7:37)
This admiration and respect for Paul in Kross’s heart shows how much that meant to him after getting ignored by the company.

In the video, Kross added more things about Paul. He revealed that they were supposed to work together following that WrestleMania involvement. But ultimately, Paul went off in another direction, and it never happened.
But I was hoping we were going to work towards that. Since it’s very clear that we’re not working towards that, I might as well tell you guys, but he’s a good dude. and he rolled with it,” Kross said about Paul.
Kross planned on letting Paul use what he was doing and saying for the heat. Finally, Kross concluded by saying a lot of people left his side and disappeared, but Paul’s not one of them.
