Karrion Kross Originally Scheduled For Supercard Of Honor

A new report has claimed that Karrion Kross and Scarlett Bordeaux were originally supposed to appear at Ring of Honor Supercard of Honor.

Killer Kross, formerly known as Karrion Kross has been on a mission to rebuild his career since being released by WWE in November 2021. To date that journey has taken him to Control Your Narrative and Major League Wrestling, while he’s also set to make his debut with New Japan Pro Wrestling on April 1st.

However, one company where he seemingly won’t be appearing, at least for the time being, is Ring of Honor. The promotion was recently acquired by AEW President Tony Khan, and is set to end their hiatus on April 1st with Supercard of Honor.

It has been reported via Fightful Select, that Kross and his partner Scarlett Bordeaux had originally been set to appear on the show after speaking with booker Delirious. However, since Khan purchased the company, there hasn’t been any contract.

Keen eyed fans will have noted that Kross’ already confirmed New Japan debut takes place on the same day as Supercard of Honor.

It has already been announced that the Ring of Honor show will feature the long-awaited clash between FTR and The Briscoe Brothers. However, the road to get the match confirmed was far from straight forward.

The same report from Fightful, claims that Delirious’ plans for the match went as far back as late 2021, with the confrontation between the two teams at Final Battle. Despite this, this proposal hit trouble with WarnerMedia making it clear that they didn’t want the Briscoe’s in AEW, owing to previous homophobic remarks made by Jay. It should be noted that the ROH star has since apologised for these comments.

It is unclear as to whether this situation may have changed with Khan now owning ROH.

It was noted that once Khan purchased the promotion, talks over the match began once more, but it was “quite the process” to get a deal together.

In addition, Delirious will remain with ROH until the show on April 1st, but will then no longer be committed to the company. Furthermore, former ROH talents who had hoped to return for the show, have found themselves in the same boat as Killer Kross, with no contact being made with new management.
