According to Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer Newsletter, former NXT Champion Karrion Kross is expected to return to the brand soon.
On the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer Radio, Meltzer noted that the star was absurdly stronger than he should be at this point in his recovery and he is on his way back to the ring.
Though there is currently no time frame given for Karrion Kross’ return, he and Scarlett Bordeaux have both been posting videos of his recovery on their Instagram accounts with the latter first positing a clip of Kross lifting her and friend using only a bamboo bar, with the man in question then sending a clip of him undergoing a grueling work-out.
Karrion Kross was forced to relinquish the NXT Championship following his victory over Keith Lee at NXT TakeOver XXX on August 23. During that match, the behemoth suffered a dislocation of his acromioclavicular joint when planting a clothesline on Lee.
With the maximum recovery time of three months about to expire and Finn Balor looking for a potential challenger for his NXT Championship for the upcoming NXT TakeOver: WarGames on December 6, we could see the star return sooner than believed to reclaim the prize he never lost.
