Karrion Kross reveals how massive fan chants stunned WWE higher-ups.
Fans across WWE events have rallied behind Kross in recent months, creating a wave of support that even surprised WWE’s top officials. In his recent YouTube video, Kross recalled early warnings that the chants would not last. He said,
I was being told by certain people, ‘Don’t acknowledge it,’ which felt really wrong because having a connection with the audience, doesn’t just come around for everybody.” (16:01 – 16:20)
Instead of fading, the cheers grew louder each week as he walked to the ring.

That support was never planned, Kross said it stemmed from moments over the past three years, from his NXT debut to hard-hitting matches on Raw.
“This happened organically through a series of events,” he noted. As the volume rose, WWE higher-ups struggled to accept the support. Some hesitated to fully embrace his surge, unsure if the reaction was real or would pass.
The company’s data backed up what fans felt as Kross climbed to the top of WWE merchandise sales online, reflecting his genuine demand. At SummerSlam and on RAW, chants of “We Want Kross” echoed through arenas.
In the same video, Kross thanked Logan Paul for involving him in his match against AJ Styles at WrestleMania 41.

Behind the scenes, Kross revealed, the reaction posed a challenge for WWE’s decision makers. He said some viewed the chants as rebellious, as if the fan connection was a threat to scripted plans.
