Karrion Kross Makes First Non-WWE Appearance; Attacks Ex-Champion

Former WWE stars Karrion Kross and Scarlett

Karrion Kross has appeared at a different wrestling promotion!

Just weeks after Kross and his wife, Scarlett Bordeaux’s recent departure from World Wrestling Entertainment, the couple has already shocked the world.

As speculation began to grow about their wrestling status, Kross and Bordeaux recently appeared at GCW Homecoming. As Matt Cardona and Shotzi fought, fans saw multiple druids come out on behalf of Cardona, while Shotzi wiped them out.

However, as Cardona kneeled on his knee, two druids revealed themselves to be Kross and Bordeuax, before dropping the former Intercontinental Champion with a door. The 33-year-old star then hit a top rope senton on Cardona for the victory.

While this marked Kross’ first non-WWE appearance, the former NXT Champion has competed for GCW in the past, most notably at Bloodsport events.

Karrion Kross Hopeful About His Future Following WWE Exit

Recently, speaking to Tom Campbell of Cultaholic, Karrion Kross opened up about his prospects and his thoughts following their departure from the Stamford-based promotion.

I wish. I hope so. For everybody’s sake. There is so much to play with here. Unfortunately, the reality is well known now about what exactly is going on. I have to tell you, I feel very hopeful about everything happening right now. We have so many people coming in to talk to us and bring us out to events. We’ve always had great relationships outside the company [WWE] and with third-party sponsorships and endorsements. There is stuff flying in.

The biggest problem we have is that we have such an abundance of work that we can’t do all of it right now, so we try not to double-book ourselves. There is tons of stuff coming in and we feel so supported. I’m looking forward to it. Everything happens for a reason.”
