Karrion Kross took a scary bump on his head in potentially his last WWE match at SummerSlam.
Tonight may have seen Karrion Kross wrestle his last match in a WWE ring. The Herald of Doomsday is yet to sign a new contract with the Stamford-based promotion, and his current deal reportedly runs out in August.
With that in mind, there is a good chance that this is the last time the WWE Universe sees Kross in action, and it ended with him taking a nasty bump. The 40-year-old was facing Sami Zayn tonight, in an attempt to get the latter to finally admit that he, too, has a dark side.
It was a match that could’ve gone either way, but it ended in Zayn’s favor. He won the match with a Helluva Kick, but before that, he hit Karrion Kross with an Exploder. That was when Kross scarily landed on his head, which had many concerned.

It was hard to tell if the bum affected Kross adversely. After all, he was pinned for the three count just seconds after taking it. Hopefully, he is doing fine.
Karrion Kross is eager to give the fans what they want
In recent months, Karrion Kross has become a fan-favorite of the WWE Universe. Every time he makes an appearance on screen, he is met with a roar of cheers. This reaction has had an effect on Kross, who, despite the doubts surrounding his future, is ready to give it all to the fans.
In a recent interview on the Battleground Podcast, Kross outlined his plans for the future. In particular, he made it clear that he wants to give the fans what they want. Whether that’s in WWE or somewhere else remains to be seen, but that is his prerogative going forward.
