TakeOver: In Your House went off the air with a bombshell from NXT General Manager William Regal.
As Regal walked outside of the Capitol Wrestling Center, interviewer McKenzie Mitchell asked Regal for his thoughts on the show. Regal cryptically responded that it might be “time for a change.”
“It’s been seven years since I became the GM of NXT and I’ve never seen so much bedlam. It’s complete madness. I think it’s time for a change.”
In the wake of these comments it has been revealed that Regal will address the future of NXT on the June 15th episode of the black and gold brand.
It has also been suggested that Samoa Joe could be about to return to NXT. Potentially as Regal’s replacement or enforcer.
