Karrion Kross Finally Reveals Shocking Details Behind His WWE Contract Situation

Karrion Kross Scarlett Bordeaux The Ariel Helwani Show WWE 2025

Karrion Kross found a surge in popularity in 2025, but ironically, WWE decided to let him go. And no, this is not a work. The man himself broke character to discuss pressing matters.

After his “devil on the shoulder” resonated with the fans, Kross received a warm reception at WrestleMania 41. The thing is, he was not even wrestling on the show. He played second fiddle to AJ Styles and Logan Paul, interfering in their match. That was his only role at The Show Of Shows. But Kross was evidently over, and he and Scarlett managed to keep up that momentum until their exit this month.

This was not the case when he returned in August 2022, but today, his relationship with the fans is earned. Be that as it may, WWE went another direction.

Karrion Kross Reveals WWE Offered A Contract At The Last Minute

On the latest edition of The Ariel Helwani Show, Karrion Kross made it clear that everything he was going to state in the interview was real and that he was no longer speaking as a character. Kross revealed that WWE had offered him a contract, but then he was put in a tough spot.

According to the now former WWE Superstar, the company’s offer had a 24-hour expiration date. Kross was not sure what to make of it, as in order to make an informed decision, he had to know how the promotion had arrived at the numbers involved:

My contract was up last week. I never actually received a contract — an offer, until last week,” Kross said. “I got the offer. I wanted to know how they came to the valuation of that offer. Just wanted to know some metrics, analytics, supporting to — ‘Hey, that’s how we got here!’

When I inquired about that, they weren’t willing to provide that information, and told me I had 24 hours to agree to the offer.”

Kross further noted that he left the door open, but could not agree to what was presented to him. He also confirmed that this was not a work and that his second WWE run had officially ended.
