RAW Superstar Karrion Kross broke his silence on reports that he had backstage heat for not taking bumps.
It is no secret that Karrion Kross is one of the most popular superstars around presently. Fans around the world have constantly demanded that he’s booked in more matches, and he gets massive pops whenever he makes an appearance.
Kross finally secured a huge match against Sami Zayn at WWE Night of Champions, his first PLE appearance since WrestleMania 40. However, many reports were floating around that The Harbinger of Doom did not want to take bumps, especially to his back, which was a major reason for him not being pushed by the company.
Karrion Kross Addresses Reports About Him Having Heat For Not Taking Bumps
Karrion Kross put these rumors to rest in a recent interview.
Speaking to The National, Kross was asked about the reports about him having heat. The WWE star laughed it off, calling the reports about him not taking bumps the weakest rumor he had read about himself. He also added that there was another fabricated report going around about him walking out on the Stamford-based company after doing a shoot promo.
He also admitted that he doesn’t respond to these reports on purpose and said that they were something that he got a good laugh from:
I thought out of all the crazy articles that are fabricated about me every week, that was the weakest.”
“There was another wild one I saw last week that was even funnier. It said something like, ‘Karrion Kross is going to come to Monday Night RAW and he’s going to quit and do a shoot promo live, and then walk out.’ I thought that was a good one.”
“But I don’t really respond to any of them. There’s a crazy one about me every week or two. You just kind of have to laugh.”

It’s great to see Kross take these reports in good spirits, and while there is no official update about his contract status, his appearance at Night of Champions may indicate that all is well between him and WWE.
In other good news, it seems that Kross’ popularity has crossed boundaries. The WWE Superstar was hounded by fans who declared their adoration for him when he was entering the venue for the kick-off show. His wife and fellow star Scarlett, shared a tweet about the same:
