Former WWE stars Karrion Kross and Scarlett have been confirmed for their first public appearance after exiting the Stamford-based promotion.
After much speculation surrounding their exits, Kross finally confirmed recently that he and Scarlett leaving the company was not a work and that their contracts had indeed expired.
Fans have been speculating where the couple is headed next, and while there is no word about which promotion they could be joining, a report has shared news about their first public appearance after their exit from World Wrestling Entertainment.
As per a report from WrestlingNews.co, The Herald of Doomsday and Scarlett were confirmed to make an appearance at The Big Event NY’s EXS Entertainment x Sports Expo, which is an autograph convention. The event is to be held on November 15 at the Suffolk Credit Union Arena in Brentwood.
Karrion Kross Shares Major Details Surrounding WWE Exit
In a recent interview on The Ariel Helwani Show, the former NXT Champion shared some interesting details about his and Scarlett’s contracts.
While asked about the contract situation, Kross indicated that WWE didn’t see him and The Smoke Show as a complete package. The 40-year-old grappler revealed that the promotion had no offer for Scarlett and was told that they would look into making her an offer only after they closed Kross’ contract:
“Nothing, she had nothing, there was no offer to her. I was told at one point, ‘after we deal with you, we’ll deal with her’. I don’t know [if they were willing to offer her a separate contract]. I don’t see why we couldn’t have done things the way we did before.”

Kross also revealed that his now viral promo post WrestleMania 41 upset a lot of people in the creative team and Triple H, as they were not given prior information that the whole segment was a work.
Karrion Kross says the creative team and Triple H weren’t okay with his infamous promo and didn’t know it was a work.
“No one told them anything. I was just trying to do my job. My job was to make them believe.”
