While Karrion Kross is now back on the WWE roster, he has revealed that he almost took a very different path in his career.
On the August 5th edition of SmackDown, Karrion Kross and Scarlett made their shock return to WWE by interrupting a segment between Drew McIntyre and Roman Reigns.
Kross re-introduced himself to the WWE Universe by laying out McIntyre while Scarlett left her own message for Unified WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns by placing her hourglass in the ring to suggest Reigns’ time is running out.
However, if WWE hadn’t come knocking, Karrion Kross might have left pro wrestling altogether.
During an appearance on Corey Graves’ After the Bell podcast, the star revealed that former MMA star Daniel Gracie had been encouraging him to fight in UFC and he was also close to signing a three-fight deal with Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship.
“Here’s some breaking news. So Daniel Gracie is one of our head instructors for jiu-jitsu. He was encouraging me to relocate to Philadelphia to fight in the UFC. Then on top of that, while that was going on, I was speaking with David Feldman from Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship and I was on the verge of taking a three fight deal. ”
